Nasty Neil E

Now and again you hear of a track and wonder how on earth the producer came up with such an original idea. "Spaceman" is one of those tracks. CyberKitten resident Nasty Neil E has cheekily taken the ever familiar vocal from Babylon Zoo's "Spaceman" and twisted it into a snarling hard tech edged monster of a track.

It kicks off with Neil's trademark techy percussion, layers twisting over each other and bouncing along with a fat kick/bass combo, before dropping sharply into the breakdown, using that vocal, but filtered up to give it a harsher edge. But don't let the hands in the air moment catch you out - the beats slam right back in harder and tougher than ever, but keeping the vocal sneaking in and out all the way through.

"Spaceman" is probably one ofthe most original new pieces of hard dance material I've heard in ages - really clever use of a timeless classic and strong beats give it a massive crossover appeal for al from the techy edged DJs right thorugh to hard trancers looking to spice up their sets a little! I have a strong feeling you will be hearing a lot of this track over the coming months!! Thumbs up
