Tribute from Steve Blake
I Remember Papa Lou from Sunnyside Up many years ago. Even before I’d met him I knew who he was. We met not long after that and went on to be come very good friends. He would often come with me to my gigs and was a huge character on the London club scene. Someone who I’ve sorely missed since he’s sad passing. See you there to remember a GREAT
Tribute from Dj Skol
I first met Lou in 1994 at my first Hard House party and from that moment we became great friends. We spent at least a part of every weekend together after that and I mean EVERY weekend up to and including his last. The man was a soldier. I’ve not met many on this scene that have had such an impact and influence on so many people who was not a DJ or Promoter. What made this man one of the greats was his intelligence, generosity and that ever fixed smile on his face. Still well LOVED and well MISSED.
Tribute from Dj Craig Mac
Lou always had a smile on his face, always had something interesting to talk about and always had something pleasant to say. Lou’s taste in music was diverse and not just limited to hard house, so you could always be guaranteed there was an amusing anecdote to each and every story about the “good old days”. As a person Lou was a warm, generous person and a great friend. No matter how long the weekend, he always managed to give a room energy when he walked in. Lou is a legend and I know he will never be forgotten. RIP
Tribute from Dj Muzz
My first memories of Lou, well they go back more than I can remember, but Sunnyside Up at leisure lounge defiantly, and possibly go back long before that, vibrance, sanctuary and gism to name but a few! Lou always honest and genuine always new what clubbers were all about new who was decent and who made time for him and he always made time for everyone. Always supported me and any promotions I was running or involved in, always made the effort every time without fail. I have never ever met a more generous man whatever he had was shared with everyone no questions. What I miss the most is that we would talk for hours at 414 till the early morning and that’s when I discovered the real Lou. We connected in a way that just makes me so privileged to of been so close to him and that’s what makes him so special to me, he was a star. ! Still feels weird at 414 I expect to see his hat coming up the stairs or across the dance floor!! I will probably say what everyone feels. we all miss him so much! Rest in peace my friend.
Tribute from Dj Roosta.

No matter what venue or night it never quite felt right
