NICK ROWLAND is the man behind The Coalition, NR2, Rowland & Wright, and Phatt Bloke & Slim. His dancefloor scorchers include ‘Deeper’, ‘Bring The Lights Down’, ‘Hold that Sucker Down’, ‘No Other Love’, and ‘Fakin’ It’. He has worked with the biggest names in the scene, including Nick Sentience, Phil Reynolds, James Lawson, and Rob Tissera, and is currently one of the in-house studio engineers for Vision Control Digital. He has just started a new collaboration, Research and Development, aimed at putting the fun back into hard dance music! TORYN D is the other half of Research and Development. Their releases ‘Stimulate' & 'Timeline’ have been supported by Nick Sentience, BK, K90, Phil Reynolds, Anne Savage, Rodi Style, and Kutski. Under his own name, Toryn has collaborated with some of the big guns, including Defective Audio, HiFreak1c, and Random But Raw, with releases on Awsum Hard, Vision Control and Riot! Also on the bill will be South Coast bounce-meister and psychedelic hair-do PHIZZ (Presence recordings, Tonk!) PLUS hard-trance master LEE WALLS (LD Concept, Electric Shandy recordings). PLUS (!!) our resident party animals, KRUNCHIE and DJ DRUMMER PLUS (!!!) in the RECOVERWORLD room, 'breathless' CHRIS HAMPSHIRE, COXY and guest DAN (LD Concept) PANNELL will be providing the trance for those under-150-bpm moments. Shelly will be selling her shinies, and Pussy von Teese will be dancing for your delight. Hard South is at the Honeyclub, Kings Road Arches, Brighton. We are open 11pm - 5am.
