The Delicious Monthly party rolls in to Kaliber in the Valley again for a
night of tasty tasty (so good I had to say it twice) house music from
8pm.
From deep to techy to groovy and uplifting you will hear the entire
house music genre spanned in true Delicious style and its free entry all
night.
This month were pleased to welcome Sidechain Musics Kris-Ko and
Metro Radio host and Complext resident Alex James.
Heres a bit about them:
Kris-Ko:
There are few people in the Brisbane dance music scene with their
fingers in as many pies as Kris Swales (aka Kris-Ko). Street press
writer, promoter, publicist, producer, punter – with so many irons in
the fire it’s a wonder he actually finds time to sleep.
Swales has been an integral part of the Brisbane music landscape, the
man behind the drum kit for veteran genre-smashing live act D-Ko
playing events such as Valley Fiesta, Woodford Festival, 4ZZZ Market
Day, Earthcore In The Park and 2005’s Earthcore Global Carnival.
Now as DJ and producer in his own right he has racked up DJ sets at
DROP, Logic, The Sunday Day Roast, and his own Elements, Sidechain
and Boat Party events.
Whether sweating it out behind the kit, dropping bombs in the DJ booth
or pulling the strings behind the scenes at one of his many promotional
ventures, if Kris-Ko is involved you can be guaranteed entertainment!
Alex James:
Promoter and resident for the best deep house and techno night on he
Gold Coast ‘Complex’ (previously Min2Max) at Platinum Alex James is
a man on top of his game right now.
Warming up for Deepchild, Moonbeam for their QLD live show and
playing with the likes of Lutzenkirchen and Ben Wijay and as if thats
not enough for a DJ C.V. he is also the Host of the ‘Deep Casualties’
radio show every sunday night from 11pm-1am on Radio Metro
105.7FM.
Alex is a true payer of the Deep warm sounds of house and were
pleased to have him play Delicious, trust us he’s not to be missed.
