BEN ALONZI NEW ALBUM LAUNCH "I Belong To You"
Those of you who were onboard with Echo last July will remember the debut of Midlands DJ, producer and Nucommunicate head honcho Ben Alonzi. He played a fantastic set and got a wonderful response from the Echo dance-floor. We're delighted to announce that Ben has just become a late addition to the May 11th line-up, and will be exclusively using our boat party to launch his new album "I Belong To You", which is packed full of rich, warm, and exhilarating sounds. Ben has been working overtime in the studio over the last year collaborating with an elite selection of artists on this project and he continues to push the boundaries of euphoric & progressive Trance with his productions. As a performance DJ he has played with many of the heavyweights in the scene including Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto, appearing at major venues and events all over the UK which have included God's Kitchen, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Honey Club amongst a host of others. He remains a Nu-Passion resident for super-club brand Passion, as well as for online dance magazine VMM which reaches very nearly 500,000 people globally. It's a while since he last played in London and Echo is very happy to be the event he chose to launch his new collection. Catch him lifting the roof off in the final set in the upstairs room.

Fantastic late news!! Joining Ben Alonzi behind the decks for the closing 2 hours in the Prog & Trance room will be Midlands superstar DJ Rich Smith! Rich Smith is fast growing into a prolific and globally recognized producer with his trailblazing Trance anthems, which are designed and engineered for peak time dance floor euphoria. Catch him closing the party with Ben Alonzi!
FELICIOUS BEATS has serious talent. Echo receives countless demos in a calendar year, and his were amongst the very best we received in 2012. He played his first club gig at 16 years old and by 18 had played in clubs all over Germany. After winning a major DJ competition he played at the massive Airbeat One Festival at Neustadt-Glewe last year. He moved to the UK last autumn and he's already become a regular at Ministry and Dogstar in Brixton as well as still retaining his bookings on the continent. We strongly recommend you check out some of the links below to get a feel for the technical skills he'll be bringing to the Echo decks on May 11th.

THE PIER:
This boat will depart (and return to) Temple Pier, Victoria Embankment, London WC2R 2PN. The pier is opposite the Walkabout pub and only 1 minute from Temple tube station.
AFTER-PARTY DEAL:
Your Echo ticket will get you into Noveau & Musiq Concrete's event featuring DJ W!ld at the Crucifix Lane Warehouse (7-9 Crucifix Lane, Southwark SE1 3JW) for half price (£10) and you will also get a free drink. Just ask for your drinks voucher at the door when you turn over the after-party stub of your Echo ticket. The club goes on till 6am so that's an extra 7 hours for a tenner just by having an Echo boat party ticket.
