A.PAUL- was born in Lisbon (Portugal) in 1971. His first contact with music was at the age of 6 through the influence of his older sister who was really into the funky disco sound. His musical roots are deeply connected with great musicians such as George Benson, Imagination, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones, Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, and later with Kraftwerk, true pioneers of what we now call electronic music.
He also received some electro and hip-hop vibes from the 80´s, and by the time acid house hit Europe by the end of the decade, he was already mixing for some time, making some parties with his own equipment, and his work was recognized by the portuguese dj J. Daniel, who gave him the opportunity in 91 to start playing as a resident in a club that held the capacity for a 1000 people and also invited him to work at his record shop and with whom he also released his first vinyl record in 94, on his imprint Question of Time. This record was also licensed to the mythical Italian label UMM. This was a time of great discovery in music, made A.Paul forge and polish his own style of music and skills as well, leading him to become resident of two of the most charismatic clubs at that time, Climacz in 94 and Kremlin in 96 both in Lisbon.
In 1995, after his first international gig in Augsburg - Germany, he became the techno import manager for Illegal Records in Lisbon, and with this new step he is able to get all the latest promos of techno, and release his music on his own labels, first Squeeze Records with another 2 portuguese djs, and later on his own Onh.Cet. This was the when he got definitely addicted to techno music, absorbing all the new influences from Detroit, Chicago, the first minimal wave from Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Joey Beltram, and also the European faction with The Advent, Surgeon, Luke Slater, James Ruskin, Steve Rachmad, Maurizio among a lot of other artists and labels that deeply inspired him throughout the years.
The next couple of years A.Paul released music for other international labels which made his name more popular hence leading to an expectable increase of gigs in his country, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Slovakia, Germany and Denmark.
DJ LINK- (Portugal) is the leading DJ/producer on the Portuguese electronic music scene and one of the top techno DJS in European scene. By delivering upbeat techno and amazing musical experiences, DJ Link wows dance floors with every set.
Besides being one of the most requested DJs in Portugal, DJ Link has become a crowd favorite in Spain where he often performs at topnotch venues and events like CODE (Fabrik), Technosonic (Burgos), Zeus (Valladolid or Coruña), Electrosonic Festival (Burgos)…DJ Link has also performed in the UK, Ireland, Slovenia, Holland, Ucraine, France, Hungary and Brazil, receiving praise from fans and promoters on every occassion—always leading to repeat gigs. In Brazil, He is the best known DJ from Portugal, and often performs in famous clubs such as Clash, Lov.e, Manga Rosa, and many others.
DJ Link is one of the producers showcased on Marco Bailey and Christian Varela\\\'s Pornographic Recordings and has also released on labels such as Innova Musik, Ying Yang, Naked Lunch, Techhead or Beat Disaster along with well known producers such as Hertz, Preach, Valentino Kanzyani, Dave The Dummer, A.Paul… His own label, \\\"Amigos Recordings\\\" is one of his main projects. The 1st release included tracks from DJ Link and a Valentino Kanzyani remix, and was immediately considered one of the best releases of that year. Now on its 7th release, \\\"Amigos Recordings\\\" has released tracks and remixes from artists such as Preach, Axel Karakasis, A.Paul, Dave the Drummer, Wehbba, Peppelino or David Moleon, and of course many of the best tracks from DJ Link. \\\"Amigos Recordings\\\" is already considered one of the best techno labels worldwide, having each release on the sales tops and tracks always charted by the best Top techno DJs.
DJ Link is also the owner of and guiding force behind Techno Inside (www.technoinside.org), the biggest website for information on the Portuguese techno music scene. DJ Link also hosts a radio show called \\\"Audio Link\\\", broadcasted every Saturday at 18 hours GMT from Livesets Radio (www.livesets.com). Audio Link is widely-considered as one of Livesets.com´s best weekly broadcasts, and is now on its 5th season.
DJ Link is currently producing several records to be released soon which are sure to be amazing. The next release will be Sétimo EP from Amigos Recordings. A dancefloor killer!!! International artists who regularly use DJ Link’s tracks in their sets include DJ Murphy, DJ Preach, Cristian Varela and DJ Pepo amongst many others.
HRIS LIBERATOR- is a DJ and a producer. Besides his prolific work for Stay Up Forever and Cluster under a range of pseudonyms & collaborations, (including a mass of work with, amongst others, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Guy McAffer, Lawrie Immersion, Julian and Aaron Liberator, Ant and Darc Marc), he has also recorded under his own name for many other labels including Tec, Prolekult and Smitten.
He regularly plays throughout the UK, Europe and most of the world with the other Liberator DJs. He was one of the first western DJs to work in the former iron curtain states and to pioneer the Acid Techno Sound there!
He has played in more exotic locations such as Australia, Israel, Japan, Brazil and Venezuela and spreads his inimitable DJ style with frequent visits to the USA and Canada.
He Co-owns and runs the Stay Up Forever Label Collective, (with the other Liberators) which includes their Labels Stay Up Forever and Cluster. He has launched his own labels \\\"Maximum Minimum\\\" and \\\"Wah Wah\\\" for Techno, and \\\"Yolk\\\" for Tech-House.
LUDGERO COSTA-It all started when he was 13 play drums & percusion at his hometown LISBON Barreiro he was a master at hes age, he use to go to is friends house just to see them playing with decks, what a feeling it was for him!! When he moved to U.K. at age off 17 is friend Biri ask him to keep an eye on his decks while he was away. Little did Ludgero know this would be a major turning point in his life. A couple of weeks alone with the decks and records- teamed with his enthusiasm for techno and that was it. He\\\'d found his passion. Ludgero\\\'s been Djing in london techno scene for over six years and is well knownfor his original style of funky,deep and dark techno. At just 22, he\\\'s already a permanent fixture at London\\\'s biggest underground parties and best clubs in town. Not to mention his popular weekly club night TECHNO SESSIONS. But unlike many who seem to stumble across success, ludgero\\\'s worked hard to get where he is and his passion and dedication have definitely paid off. He started going to underground parties and slowly but surely he got to know the promoters and started playing, but it wasn\\\'t easy. It took time and effort. But his perseverance was soon rewarded once he became a regular face behind the decks. Before long he could be found playing with London\\\'s biggest sound systems every weekend, including Manik, Malfaiteurs, Everyone\\\'s sound and Fucknows. As he gained more recognition as a DJ he started at various club nights around town. His first gig was in the Medussa Club in Brixton and since then he\\\'s played at some London\\\'s top nightclubs including Turnmills, Heaven, The Fridge, Hidden, SE1, The Telegraph, The Mass, Factory, The Jamm, Dukes, and The Dance Industry many more.. He\\\'s also featuredat high profile events around town including Brokwell Park in Brixton and The Fair Festival 4 Life. Ludgero\\\'s had the opportunity to play in same events & alongside the cream of techno DJs including Marko Nastic, Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Chris Finke, Aaron Liberator, Colin Dale, Agoria, Marco Lenzi, Martin Hare, Alex calver, The Geezer, Dj Bunnys, Patrik Skoog, Jesus Del Campo, Dj Ze Miguel, DJ Link, Jiggy, Oliver klein, Remy & Roland klinkenberg many more... More recently, Ludgero\\\'s begun moving into production and has been 3 years making tunes in his studio at home, with help of some good friends things are coming in is direction. Soon is first album is on ELEKTRONIC VIBES- Aeroplano.
