Warped Thursdays continues to go from strength to strength. The move back to the front bar @ The Spotted Dog was the catalyst for some great parties in October and there is no signs of that letting up in November. The new format of progressing from funky to hard will continue, so the quality tunage you expect at Warped will remain as always.
Proper midweek mayhem where Warped & Torque Residents (plus guests) re-charge your week with the freshest & finest Funky House, Groovy Techno & Hard Dance. So get on down to The Spotted Dog to check out WARPED THURSDAYS.
Also in November and December, SPIN are hosting a DJ competition. Competitors will be battling it out to win a monthly residency at SPIN @ the legendary Club 414 in Brixton.
DJ’s will be showcasing their talents behind the wheels of steel in a 30 min set.
DJ’s will be judged on not only their mixing ability, but also their tune selection, and presence behind the decks.
DJ Comp heats will take place at WARPED on Thursdays @ The Spotted Dog in Willesden.
There will be 4 heats held weekly from the 30th Nov to the 21st Dec.
One winner will be selected from each heat and the final will take place at SPIN on 19th Jan 2007 where finalists will be given a one hour set to play.
