It's business as usual at The Gallery on Friday 8th July as we welcome some of the finest overseas talent for another EC1 roadblock. This week's entertainment is headed by American heavweight DJ/producer Victor Calderone. The Brooklyn-born house Mafioso has worked with some of the biggest stars, ranging from Joey Beltram (Victor was a member of the group Pogram 2 with the legendary 'Energy Flash' producer in the early 90s), Madonna, Sting, Gloria Estefan, Elton John, Destiny's Child and more. His extended sets at The Gallery have become legendary in recent years and he returns for another unmissable late night session alongside Hybrid and Lucien Foort. Since smashing Turnmills apart with their live show a few years ago, the breaks specialists are now regular players on the Dj front at the club. Expect more throbbing b-lines from the boys as they take over from Mr Calderone.
Dutch prog-trancer Lucien Foort is on hand to take the bpms up a gear, before rising trance hero Ollie Leighs brings the roof down at the end. Becomeone resident Tim Davison meanwhile sets the night on its way with another masterful main room warm up.
Over in T2, the Going Places crew are back to host more Adventures in International House Music with a glittering array of talent on display. This month they've pulled out all the stops as Portugal's finest import (this side of Man Utd's Ronaldo!), Rui Da Silva checks in for another exclusive set. The 'Touch Me' star remains a key player on the European circuit and he takes his place alongside Romania's DJ Livio who jets in for his debut. Going Places resident rocker Tania von Pear resumes her jackin' house role with support from Playtime's Mike Monday and Chris Lambert and Jason Feist. Hot stuff.
