The south coast’s finest hard dance night, Hard South, presents the CIRCUS of WRONG, The music is certain to be RIGHT though, with our star guests this month being two of the titans of hard dance production. The tunes of DOM SWEETEN and SCOTT ATTRILL have probably been played in the club more than those of any other artists!
Local hero Dom Sweeten has recorded most of his hard house under the names OD404 (with Superfast Oz), Base Graffiti, and Defective Audio. He is studio wizard of choice for all those in the genre, from his majesty Andy Farley down to all aspiring hard DJs.
Scott Attrill has produced music across the spectrum of dance music. His most well known alias is Vinylgroover, under which he recorded some memorable hard but melodic trance bangers in the 90s. These days, he enjoys being 'Sexy, dirty, filthy' (that's one of his tracks, btw, not a reference to his personal hygeine).
Also on the bill are our resident party animals, KRUNCHIE, SALERNO and DJ DRUMMER.
And in the Recoverworld room, 'breathless' Chris Hampshire, Coxy and guests will be providing the trance for those under-150-bpm moments.
As ever, Shelly will be running her shiny stall, and Miss Pussy von Teese will be dancing for your delight.
This is also Nick Hardsouth's birthday party, and the first of the Hard South awards in memory of Laura Main aka Lady Asbo, a truly magnificent person who will be sorely missed.
Hard South is at the Honeyclub, Kings Road Arches, Brighton.
We are open 11pm - 5am.
