Ricco Dex started his musical career at age 16 working as a live sound engineer, he soon discovered the thrills and excitement DJing had waiting for him and started developing a passion for fresh jacked up underground beats. He grew his reputation on networks such as facebook- Group - ''The Funky Slide''- where he contributes to the scene by keeping all his members up-to-date on events,DJ's and newest track & album releases.
Ricco launched a series of mixes called funkDEMOlition when he laid his hands on his first CD decks in June 2007, with no help he started creating his own unique style on the decks and have been addicting more fidget/electro fanatics to the dancefloor by the day. Ricco's mix ''funkDEMOlition vol3'' landed a spot on 5fm's Vinyl Frontier on 29 March 2008. He started a new series of mixes called ''Reckless Dex'' and the first Volume stirred up huge responses with 150 downloads in just 24 hours!!!
Causing havoc on parties such as Soulcandi's Carnival Roxy's, Lucid Productions - Electric Ice, News Cafe's Leap year party, Sneak This - Vynil Meltdown and Stones centurion this fidget-electro explosion is surely one to take cover for at a pary near you!!
